Verified platforms

Verified on an Apple M1 Pro running macOS 26 with Electron 44. The published installer is arm64 only.

Windows, Linux, Intel Macs and other macOS versions are unverified. No Windows, Linux or Intel build is published, and Apple notarization is not planned.

Privacy and data

• Recordings, settings and logs stay on your Mac in the locations listed under Help.
• The app has no upload backend, account, telemetry or crash reporting.
• This website is static and sets no cookies. Downloads are served by GitHub Releases.

RecordStuff is MIT licensed. The code, design documents and the verification record behind every claim on this site are on GitHub. Version 0.1.2 was built by CI from commit 122a854.

To report a problem, open an issue and include the relevant lines from the log; right-click the menu bar icon and choose Show log to find it.
